wistfully wishing we were wending with wellness,

when whitecapped waves were whooshingly washing,

while whisking winds were whirlingly whipping,

once wisping whiffs were wondrously wafting,

wailing with weeping while weariedly worrying,

wanting whatever ways wealth will wax,

wond’ring warily which ways we’ll work,

once wearisome woes will’ve wonderf’ly waned

rememb’ring   blood   spilt

&   the   causality:

it   in   the   veins   of

the   few   or   the   many,

taking   ultimate

responsibility,

&   tryna   find   those

who   now   will   take   any

with   beholding   the   works,

hearing   some   artist’s   choices,

on   canvas   or   paper,

stage   or   screen   or   raised   voices
